Hira(Vajra)Bhasma(also spelled as Heerak Bhasma, Hirak Bhasma, Vajra Bhasma, Hira Bhasma & Heera Bhasma or Diamond Bhasma) is an ayurvedic calcined medicine. It has immunomodulator, anodyne, antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anticancer action in the body. It plays a preventive as well as therapeutic role in management of cancer, impotency, obesity, tuberculosis, fistula, etc.
According to ayurveda, Hira(Vajra)Bhasma has all six tastes, pacifies all three Dosha (body humors) and increases the potency of other medicines. Clinically, its main action appears on dominance of Pitta Dosha in the body. The second action is observable on dominance of Kapha Dosha in the body. It reduces fat, prevents fat accumulation, breaks cellulite and improves overall metabolism in the body.
